Based on 25 touchdowns, each worth $442.10
To honor the memory of Abbey Schemmer, and in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Whittier Christian Heralds football team is proud to join Touchdowns Against Cancer! Both of Abbey’s brothers were Herald football players and we support our brothers! We are inviting our fans to pledge a donation for every touchdown we score from September 15 to October 1. Every touchdown scored by the Heralds during this campaign will directly benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and help defeat childhood cancer.
Touchdowns Against Cancer is important to Whittier Christian because Abbey was such an important part of our campus and because childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among young Americans. This is our way of helping the 16,000 children and adolescents that will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
You can make a difference by pledging to donate for every touchdown we score between September 15th and October 1st. Our campaign benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and their mission to defeat childhood cancer.
Thank you for your generosity and support! Be sure to share our campaign with your friends and family via email, Facebook and Twitter.
