When you first hear the words “Gridiron Heroes” a picture of football’s greatest players is most likely the very first image that appears in your mind. What if you were told that there is a group of young men who will never have the opportunity of playing football again?
Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation was formed in 2003 with a specific mission: To provide immediate, as well as, long term resources and support to individuals sustaining catastrophic spinal cord injury through activities associated with high school football.
Now you can help support these true Gridiron Heroes by pledging to donate for every point scored in this year’s College Football National Championship Game!
Make your pledge today by visiting pledgeit.org/gridironheroes.
Gridiron Heroes’ goal of raising $10,000 will only be reached with your help. These funds will help to provide items such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, portable ramps and other equipment essential to the health and well-being of injured athletes and their families. And don’t miss Gridiron Heroes Founder & Director Eddie Canales tell his family’s inspirational story at this year’s AFCA Convention in San Antonio on January 10th!
