Chase Anderson of the Milwaukee Brewers strikes out poverty

After two mission trips to the Philippines, where Chase was able to see poverty and hunger firsthand, he's decided to partner with Food for the Hungry to help strike out poverty during the 2016 MLB season.

Through his love for baseball, he wants to see the end of poverty in the Dominican Republic. His Striking Out Poverty gives fans an opportunity to support the hungry in the DR.

Fans can pledge to donate for each strikeout recorded by Chase Anderson this season. He's going to strikeout poverty and has invited fans to support the mission of Food for the Hungry. Fans can pledge by visiting:

"I love how Food for the Hungry not only provide food and clean water but help the communities learn to be self sustaining for the future." - Chase Anderson

Proceeds from Chase Anderson's Striking Out Poverty campaign will benefit Food for the Hungry and its Striking Out Poverty program.

Striking Out Poverty is a program within Food for the Hungry, a non-profit organization.
